Prevention

 

Mercer County Prevention Services are administered by Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission's Prevention Department. On the drug and alcohol continuum of care, the prevention department provides both primary and secondary intervention services to:

                                                               Individuals
                                                           School Districts

Prevention services are delivered within the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) three programming classifications: universal, selected and indicated under the Center for Substance Abuse Preventions' (CSAP) six federal strategy areas:
