Program Analyst
This is a full time position in our Quality Assurance Department. This position will serve as part of the Quality Assurance Department of the Behavioral Health Commission. This position is responsible for professional work of an advanced nature involving program planning, analysis, monitoring, and coordination of community program development with particular emphasis on mental health and housing.
This position will work with and access administrative personnel collectively and individually as projects and responsibilities require. The program specialist will support the overall department in collective assignments. Skills of planning and writing are integral to this position as is the ability to interpret laws, regulations, policy and procedures. Position will coordinate and facilitate projects with all appropriate groups. The ability to conduct needs assessments and development of program plans, policies and procedures will be required. This position will represent the agency and lead on various task forces and study groups within Mercer County and external county meetings.
This Program Analyst will be responsible for the completion, coordination and submission of the Mercer County Mental Health Plan(s). The position will be administrative liaison with Warren State Hospital. The position will be active in the development of consumer groups and soliciting their input into the planning process. Position will be the point person responsible for CFST development and monitoring. Incumbent of this position will have lead responsibilities for MH housing planning, development, monitoring and reporting. The program analyst must exercise good project management and oversight as well as demonstrate a high level of diplomacy and discretion. This position may supervise other staff and perform related work as assigned.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum bachelor's degree and a minimum of
