The purpose of ERASE, an anti-drug coalition, is to advocate for safe and healthy communities, and through collaboration, engage communities to ensure public policy that will make a noticeable impact in erasing substance abuse.
The Endorse Resistance to All Substance Abuse Everywhere (ERASE) Anti-Drug Coalition based in Farrell, PA has boosted youth participation from 12 active adolescents to 65 youth members. This growth in participation in just a four-month period is a result of the coalition holding a "Youth Day." The youth component of the coalition has sustained enthusiasm by forming a Stomp Group. The group has used "Stomp" as their anti-drug slogan. The adult advisor has supported youth leadership in their meetings and the young adults have created their own direction within the coalition.
