Student Assistance Program Training, K-12

Day 1, Oct 24th hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Day 2, Oct 25th hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Day 3, Oct 26th hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Participants attending this interactive three day training will understand and comprehend the four standards of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program Training System.

The training standards that will be mastered are:

  1. Foundations of Student Assistance in Pennsylvania
  2. The Student Assistance Team & Process
  3. Working Collaboratively to Engage Families & School Community Partners in the SAP Process
  4. Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Issues

Credits:

30 Act 48 credit hours are being offered for this training.

Note: Participants must attend the entire three-day training in order to receive credits and become certified.  Participants will also be given a competency assignment that must be completed within 30 days after the training in order to achieve full certification.

Registration deadline is October 1st or when 40 seats are filled.
