2018 Student Assistance Program Training, K-12 Information & Registration

The Student Assistance Program is celebrating 34 years assisting Pennsylvania’s youth. SAP teams are strong in Mercer County and we appreciate all of your effort to assist your students. Our office is excited to announce we are able to provide SAP Training Scholarships to our Mercer County School Districts. If you pay for someone to attend the SAP Training at our office on October 23, 24, 25, 2018 we will give you another training slot for FREE. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t miss out on this opportunity-please complete the registration below.
Attention Mercer County Participants: You will be receiving two emails. The first email will confirm your registration. Please do not send payment until you receive the second email from Melanie Moyer with the amount due based on scholarship availability.
Day 1, Oct 23th hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Day 2, Oct 24th hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Day 3, Oct 25th hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Participants attending this interactive three day training will understand and comprehend the four standards of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program Training System. The training standards that will be mastered are:
- Foundations of Student Assistance in Pennsylvania
- The Student Assistance Team & Process
- Working Collaboratively to Engage Families & School Community Partners in the SAP Process
- Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Issues
Credits: 30 Act 48 credit hours are being offered for this training. Note: Participants must attend the entire three-day training in order to receive credits and become certified. Participants will also be given a competency assignment that must be completed within 30 days after the training in order to achieve full certification.
