Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT)

The MCBHC Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) serves the Behavioral Health needs of Mercer County in times of disaster. The team is comprised of school psychologists, mental health therapists, psychiatric nurses, mental health delegates, domestic violence counselors, clergy, school personnel, drug and alcohol prevention specialists, case manages from both mental health and intellectual disabilities departments and program administrators. The team is part of the Pennsylvania Region 13 Metropolitan Medical Response System, and maintains mutual aid agreements with the American Red Cross and the Mercer County Department of Public Safety which services as the local Emergency Management Agency.
